Although Windows incorporated software to view and edit most common file extensions, we will still need additional software like Codec pack for AVI files, Pdf readers and Office for spreadsheet document. Everytime after reformatting a computer, I got to install different software for specific purpose. More frustrating, the computers in most universities has no sufficient programs installed, and admin right is required to manually install.
